Override the game shown on your overlay

Sometimes the overlay can't detect what you're playing — an unreleased build, couch co-op on an unlinked console, or anything without an achievement feed. The custom now-playing override fills the gap:

1. Open dashboard → Overlay → Custom now-playing.
2. Enter the game name — cover art is fetched automatically, or paste your own image URL.
3. Toggle it off to hand control back to automatic detection.

The override also fixes the rare case where a platform reports your last game instead of your current one. And with the Stream Deck plugin, one key toggles your saved override on and off mid-stream.
