The desktop client: screen capture & live game reactions
The desktop client runs on your PC and is how the Co-Host sees your game. Download it from the download page (Windows; a run-from-source Mac version is on the same page).
What it does
- Screen capture โ takes a screenshot on a schedule you set (1โ10 minutes), sends it to your chosen vision AI, and the avatar comments on what it sees, with a voice line on the overlay.
- Game agents โ for supported games the client reads live match data instead of guessing from pixels, so reactions land the moment things happen:
- League of Legends โ kills, objectives, and game state via Riot's live client data.
- Rocket League โ goals, saves, and demos via the official Psyonix stats feed (one-time config flag enables it; the client walks you through it). This also powers the live RL scoreboard overlay.
You don't need the desktop client for the Just Chatting Companion โ that runs entirely in your browser with your webcam and mic.
