Update titles, descriptions and game categories

Plus and Pro include the Stream details editor in Stream Workspace, available while preparing or on air.

  1. Choose a destination and click Load current details.
  2. For YouTube, choose the existing upcoming or active broadcast you want to edit. If none appears in the first 50 results, create or manage it in YouTube Studio.
  3. Edit the title. Search for a game/category and explicitly choose a result; each platform has its own category IDs.
  4. Review your changes and click Save to platform. Each destination saves separately. Changing destination discards unsaved edits.

Twitch and Kick support title and game/category edits here. Their documented channel-update APIs do not provide a stream-description field. YouTube supports title, description and video category; a specific game must be selected in YouTube Studio. Choose Gaming when searching video categories if appropriate.

The small Need ideas? Content Studio link opens the existing tool for writing titles, descriptions and posts. Its current credit and plan rules still apply.

Editing permission: existing connections may need to be reconnected in Connections. Grant the requested editing permission. Your existing connection continues to work for other tools; this editor reports when permission is missing.

Loading or searching does not publish anything. Saving edits the selected platform's metadata; it does not start or stop your broadcast or change privacy settings. After a timeout, load current details to confirm what was saved before retrying.
